6/6 Hey @Netflix, quick question: do you send Leonardo tutorials to everyone you reject, or just the ones who won't give you their prompts for free? Because if my test was so terrible, why did you ask 3 times for my prompts?

5/6 And because apparently I lack narrative sense, cinematic sense and artistic vision, they felt compelled to help me, to the point of sending beginner tutorials. Including guides on prompting and Leonardo basic tutorials. And yes, they even explained to me what Leonardo is.

4/6 But their email continued with some feedback about my test, where they explained to me that: • I only have a "sufficient basic understanding" of generative tools. • My video "lacked strong results". • I "require more foundational training".

3/6 They insisted three times to know how I did it and my creative process (always for free). And each time, I'd give them a little bit more, but not all of it. So eventually, they told me by email they would not move forward, which is OK, that is legit.

2/6 I sent them the test and then, they asked for my full workflow, how-to, prompts and JSON included. I told them I don’t share that without a contract or payment and apparently that touched a nerve.

How @Netflix got mad because I wouldn’t hand over my prompts for FREE - A thread ⤵️ A Netflix AI division asked me to do a free test for a potential job. I usually refuse free tests because free doesn't pay bills, but being Netflix I said why not, it may be a good opportunity.
