Clearing up something regarding Mohamed Diawara and the New York Knicks: Diawara is NOT eligible to sign for the Second Round Pick Exception. That contract has to be signed as the first contract the player signs. As Diawara has signed an Exhibit 10, he's no longer eligible.

Both Shamet and Diawara will shift to non-guaranteed contracts. But contracts now begin incurring a per-day cap/tax/apron hit. They'll both fully guarantee on Jan. 10. By my math, NY has about $148K left under the second apron. So, it'll be around April 2nd for a vet minimum
