To recap: - Pick a time and stick to it (even if it's hard). - Network with peers at your level, not just the stars. Are you streaming game dev? Drop your link below, Iโd love to check out your stream! ๐ค9/9

Grow with your peers. (and this was my mistake) If you don't apply part 1, they will eventually grow without you, and it will be a lost you dropping those 3 viewers on a 150 stream. Build your crew of streamer friends while you are both small and rise TOGETHER ๐ 8/9

Also, stop looking up, look sideways. If you have 2-4 viewers, hang out in streams with 2-4 viewers. Raid them. Chat with them. Support them. Don't dump your 3 viewers into a top-tier channel. It gets lost. But for a small streamer? That raid makes their day. ๐ค 7/9

Now, part 2: Community. Iโve always watched other small devs while coding (it feels like a virtual office). But just "watching" or chatting in other channels didn't help my stream grow. Being present isn't enough. You need the right strategy. 6/9

At first, it was just my old crew (friends & family). But because I was live at the same time every day, unknown folks started finding me and actually coming BACK! Predictability builds habits for your viewers. That consistency pushed me to Affiliate. 5/9

In October, I gave myself an ultimatum: take this seriously or quit. I set a rigid schedule: every weekday morning (CET). Iโm a parent, so "crazy life needs" still happen. But I managed to hit 3-5 days a week consistently. This changed EVERYTHING. 4/9

Let's start with the schedule. Early this year, my streaming was chaos. Different times. Different days. Sometimes Iโd skip 10 days, sometimes Iโd do 3 in a row. It was always a "surprise stream." The result? No growth. No viewers. No fun. ๐ 3/9

TLDR: - Radical Consistency (schedule) - Horizontal Networking (community) If you are stuck at 2 viewers or want to know more, read the deep dive below. โฌ๏ธ 2/9

When your playtester ends the session and immediately says they are going to play more. Best compliment ever ๐น๐ค

Improving our visual clues for the colony state after some playtests. This (hopefully) will help players understand which resources need attention ๐
