Tonight we lost in the Legacy Trophy against EDA. There was some brilliant Handball played by both teams in a physical and well contested game. Big shout out to the lads that played, plenty of resilience despite only fielding 5 players 🤾♂️ See you next year @ErasmusDarwinPE 🥇

Kingsmead have a World Champion! Rhys travelled to Hungary to represent England at the ICO World Championships. Rhys took home the gold and became world champion across both kickboxing and boxing categories. What an achievement this is, you have all of Kingsmead behind you!

Could not be more proud!
Congratulations to our Year 8 student Savannah who was representing England in Luxembourg for Karate. Out of 20 countries Savannah finished 5th place which is a fantastic achievement for her first ever international competition. We are so proud Savannah and good luck in Romania.

Finally, our Y8 boys lost to a talented Cardinal Griffin team. Some good performances from some Kingsmead players though. Another busy week for PE, we absolutely love it though. Huge thanks to staff for their late finishes in order to provide these opportunities to students 💪

Our superstar y8 girls took on a mammoth task, taking on a Friary team a year older. The girls lost but left the pitch in high spirits after feeling proud for taking on the challenge!

On Monday we took our awesome cross country runners to the second district meet up. Once again our runners were resilient 💪 another shout out to the Cresswell brothers, who won both their events again!

And finally, we took our cross country team to cardinal griffin tonight. There was some true resilience shown by all pupils, many representing their school for the first time. A special mention to the Cresswell brothers, who won both of their races! The new Brownlee Brothers!

One of our Y7 teams won in there first ever game, winning 12-6, what an entertaining game that was! ⚽️ huge well done to those lads proudly representing there school for the first time!

Our Y8 boys are through to the next round of the county cup, winning 4-2🥇Goals from Alfie, Olly, Tyrell and James. Well done boys!

Year 10 boys footballers lost 4-2 in the ESFA National Cup against a hard working and well organised Aldridge School away. Goals - O.G & Oliver. MOM - Josh for a solid performance.

6th form boys football team beat Wolgarston 3-0 at home in the first round of the ESFA National Cup. A good all round team performance in their first fixture of the season. Goals scored by Jude, Harrison & Bryn. Man of the match goes to Luke Kellas for his creativity and work.

Congratulations to all our Y11, who gained a qualification in either BTEC sport or GCSE PE today. They were outstanding results that were really well deserved. We’re proud of every single one of you.

Recently our former Y11 (and new Y12 student) Jake took part in the KUGB National Championship. Even more impressively, he won the event of Junior Kumite. We now have a national champion in our ranks - Well done Jake!!

Well done to Josh and Aiden who were crowned district tennis champions tonight! They didn’t loose a game! Aaron and Oliver also got on the podium by finishing 3rd. Well done boys, a brilliant achievement 🎾
