We are so sad to hear about the death of Professor Bill Yule. He made enormous contributions to clinical psychology as a discipline & to training. He was the embodiment of a scientist-practitioner. He will be deeply missed. His famiy are very much in our thoughts at this time.

Whilst DClinPsy's are training doctorates, please remember the position of a trainee clinical psychologist comes with the responsibilities of a Band 6 NHS staff member. We recommend applying when you think you're ready for these responsibilities, consolidating exp beforehand.

Psychologists offering paid for application services should reflect on increasing barriers to the profession. Applicants should speak to supervisors, attend course information events and speak to fellow trainees rather than use these. Supervisors are likely best to know how you.
