Asked for a slop index, so I built one. Ran it on a 1.2k file food truck finder that is 100% AI output Result → https://t.co/UZd6ihsHH5
@karpathy behold: 35,232 points of pure slop-fed bliss
Has anyone encountered a good definition of “slop”. In a quantitative, measurable sense. My brain has an intuitive “slop index” I can ~reliably estimate, but I’m not sure how to define it. I have some bad ideas that involve the use of LLM miniseries and thinking token budgets.

Prediction: most code quality review tools like coderabbit, codex, and karpeslop will be virtually useless by the end of this year

If agents are being held back by a lack of context, that's your fault 👏
yes things are changing fast, but also I see companies (even faang) way behind the frontier for no reason. you are guaranteed to lose if you fall behind. the no unforced-errors ai leader playbook: For your team: - use coding agents. give all engineers their pick of harnesses,

Traditional Devs would never hire a vibecoder because the ego shock would be too much for them
