We are now accepting Xmas trees down at Remic Rapids. Trees will be used for a wind block and keeping with the winter cheer for the rest of the season. No tinsel, no nails, no lights, or impurities; just clean trees. @NCC_CCN

When your tree is past its expiry date, bring it to us! 🎄 Give your Christmas tree a new lease on life after the holidays this year. Bring it over to the @NCC_Skateway tree drop off so we can reuse it at a rest area! #Ottawa #RideauCanal

Nova Scotia remembers April 18 and 19. Please join us in observing a moment of silence at noon today and tomorrow, to remember those lost, honour the survivors and reflect on the events of two years ago.

There is no easy way to say this, things are difficult right now & it’s likely that things will continue to change in the coming days. Going into the holidays we want to share resources that may be useful to have all in one spot & will help manage calls to our call center. (1/4)

You’re not alone / Vous n’êtes pas seul
We're at the phase of the pandemic when many of us have become numb to the news and we're all having Miss Vickie's for lunch. It's ok to not be ok. Asking for support isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign of courage. Resources like @DistressCentreO are there 24/7 at 613-238-3311
