Heads up, coaching is currently available for both SSBU and Rivals 2. I'm the most knowledgeable D3 out there with the results to back it up. My Lox is pretty nice, as I'm top 150 on the leaderboards. D3 is my specialty, but I'm game to talk about gameplans for all characters.

It would also give distinct bad MUs for Steve against characters that get significantly better with certain stage picks like FD Kazuya or BF Mario. Also if someone gets cheesed by Steve, it would be their fault as they chose a stage where they could get cheesed.

I think this needs to be legitimately pushed. It would solve so many issues without fully kneecapping Steve. If Steve had to play on exclusively Smashville, the character becomes way less overtuned as he doesn't get enough room to camp so he's forced to interact more (fun).
They didn’t let Meta Knight players pick stages in Brawl at Supernova can we do the same thing for Steve’s in Ult?.

From this day forward I ban "lets go kilo" from any cheers from my matches, if you want to root for me you must create a catchy limerick or chant on the spot like Europeans do.
@Kopter__ The chants for M.popo were literally 100x better than anything that happens for American players.

ESAM is 100% right, even with the wording. something tragic is gonna happen and you are going to get everyone coming out of the word work saying "we should be better man" and its the same exact people who caused it. This shit needs to change before something tragic happens man.
its gonna take someone like onin to kill themselves for people to actually realize that maybe if you dont like a character you should just not cheer instead of boo.

low/mid level player vs one of the best players in the world
I do want to clarify this isn’t like an Onin only thing, this just happens with some Steve’s, I can objectively criticize the fundamentals/gameplay without hating on the player nor should you throw hate on the player, the people booing Onin in the crowd are losers.

I keep seeing "Booing is a part of sports so it should be ok to boo" narrative and its so fucking idiotic. Historically in Smash booing as always been a very negative thing, especially because its so personal in a 1v1 game. its not NFL where its a whole team, its just 1 person.
