Community Friday means teamwork and sharing strategies! We took math outside to review for our iReady diagnostic. Thanks @cvusd_math for the cards. We had a relay race to grab cards and used tally marks, friendly tens, invented algorithms and more to add! @MeridianCVUSD ♦️♣️♥️♠️

Today we celebrated Dia de los Muertos 🌼 earlier in the month, Ms. Renfrew taught the students about Mexican culture and helped them create sugar skull art to decorate our classroom ofrenda. The kids even got to sample some traditional treats ✨ @MeridianCVUSD

Pumpkin day in Room 19! 🎃 Practicing community membership by cooperating with our teammates to count the seeds, learning about scientific vocabulary words like “decompose” with Pumpkin Jack, and pumpkin art with Ms. Renfrew! 🧡 @MeridianCVUSD

We’ve been inspired by @MeridianCVUSD pop up attendance parties to have some of our own! These kiddos have celebrated 11 days of perfect attendance so far with otter pops and extra recess in October…can’t wait to see what prize comes next! 💙💛 @DiannaSorahan
