Valve openly think that pro players/pro teams/orgs don't add any value to their product. That the reason people watch pro Dota is only because of their game & nothing else. Their actions reflects this way of thinking entirely. They don't give a fuck about their alleged 'partners'.

I just played a 75 min long game vs a Lvl 25 Dota+ Techies picker, who was by far the best Techies I've ever faced in my life. I just got a whole new level of fear and tilt for this hero after that match. I knew this hero was good and not just a meme, but my god.
