Jagex made some changes to this quest with the Beneath Cursed Sands release, you no longer have to gain combat xp!

look at this beast I got to stand next to Gz again to @KeyboardOSRS, absolutely crazy account, for finally finishing 99 herblore, untrimmed, on a level 3 hardcore ironman, with a crab claw, skull sceptre and flippers.

@jagexash do you know if the team responsible for the world hop limit can share how it works now that it seems finalised? It’ll look nice on the wiki :) And put my estimations to shame pls

World hop limit roughly works as follows (based on 20hrs): You have an allowance of ~390 hops. You gain ~93 hops/hr. e.g: If you hop every 7.45 seconds, you’ll get kicked after 1 hour (483 hops). It takes 4hr11min to fully regen your 390 hops.
