In one hand is phosphate and in the other hand is limestone. Can you tell the difference? While in Nauru 🇳🇷 last week, I learned about phosphate mining in Nauru which is inextricably linked to Nauru’s past and future.

Saying goodbye to Nauru 🇳🇷 today. It has been a full week of strategic engagements with partners. Thank you 🙏🏽 to the Government of Nauru for your leadership. Here is my parting shot at 5am of the setting moon before getting on the plane ✈️ back to Pohnpei. See you next year!
