I haven't read these but appreciate the recommendation.
I read and recommend two books on the subject of fear:. 1. Rejoice and Tremble by Michael Reeves.2. Triumphing over Sinful Fear by John Flavel. I was helped by thinking through natural fear, filial fear, and servile fear by 17th and 21st century authors. What an encouragement!.

Pell grants for trade schools - I had not heard the good news. Great news for those in our community who want to better learn a trade or switch trades.
.@VP: "If you want to get a four-year degree โ great. But if you want to be a plumber or an electrician or a pipe fitter, your government ought to fight for you too.". Thanks to the One Big, Beautiful Bill, Americans can use Pell grants for trade schools!

As a parent with primarily adult children, these are good numbers to consider soberly. We are but temporary stewards.
You get 18 summers. Then they're visiting. You get 940 weekends. Then they have their own. You get 6,570 bedtimes. Then silence. Time is the only real currency of parenthood. Spend it wisely. You can't earn more.
