Thanks so much for the kind thoughts. Pop was the son of an Italian immigrant coal miner,raised poor during the depression, Navy’45 LST Okinawa Japan occupation WW2, taught or administered school for 60 years. Married 66 years. A lot of good livin 93 years.

Never, never have I heard anyone more eloquent than Damian this evening on 620 after seeing his brother go down with an injury. He spoke about the fragility of the game. I’m guessing they’ve posted the entire interview somewhere.
Damian’s postgame on 620 am sounds like he’s near tears. He’s a true leader.
