El Segundo's @Chevron refinery exploded last night in Los Angeles County. Multiple outlets report the fire originated in the Isomax 7 hydrocracking unit (a hydrogen‑rich, high‑pressure unit that upgrades heavier oils into jet fuel). No injuries. Fire contained to one area.
