After an initial idea in 2018 I am very pleased to see our latest work published in Nature Communications today! It became a really nice study, allowed me to learn both how to code to do the analysis and how to run an old school sequencing gel.

Bringing some fun to a generally bleak twitter timeline, we were so proud of our PCR machine cake efforts for the Great Medkem Bake Off 2025! @BioRad

Importantly though, it taught me to always have a backup as my laptop died in between revisions and I had to learn how to recreate the code as well! Of course it also presents the opportunity to make a science cake too!.Thanks to all co-authors! You rock :).
