I absolutely do not understand the love LSU got from the “college basketball analysts” last night😂
Kentucky was playing handicapped on the road and had every chance to win the game.
Sounds like Cal is going to sit TyTy until he’s 100%. Said this team is established now and the most important thing is being healthy in March, even if we drop a few games before then.
Love what Calipari did last night. He got the ball in the middle of the zone to attract the 7’5 guy, which set up the bounce pass to Oscar to go up against a smaller defender.
This worked multiple times. Assists coming mostly from Toppin.
If you told me my team would have:
- Returning National player of the year
- A lottery pick
- Multiple McDonald’s All Americans
- a 49% career 3 point shooter
- Returning SEC assist leader/ Cousy finalist
I’d think we’d be pretty good. But…
I don’t see any reason why Mitch wouldn’t allow Cal to build the facility other than their personal issues🤷♂️
If our AD is going to actively shoot us in the foot, he’s gotta go
This is how Duke should always dominate teams like JMU. Just like we *should* always dominate teams like Oakland.
Good for them handling business as they should. They had a cake walk to the sweet 16, just like us. We should be there with them.
These guys played with an attitude. You weren’t messing with PJ, Reid, Keldon, Herro, and Ashton lol
Don’t feel the same energy from our teams these last few years.
Not the end of the world if we lose tomorrow, but it’s a huge opportunity.
A high level road victory while playing shorthanded would be very impressive.
Davidson and UNLV matched up last year.
Kellen Grady led Davidson to a win with 22 pts on 7/12 shooting
Bryce Hamilton led UNLV posting 27 pts on 9/17 shooting
What I’m hoping to see tonight:
- DJ and Justin get back on track
- Dilly / Reed continue shining
- Get off to a good start, bury them early
- Adou continues being a beast
Two names I would make a run at if I was Maryland AD Damon Evans: Nate Oats and Chris Holtmann.
Kevin Willard a third, and someone who would be a lot easier to land.
I agree. And acting like losing to Oakland will instill some newfound motivation in Calipari is delusional. I love the guy and appreciate all he’s done, but it’s time to move on.
