On February 1st at 1635hrs, #RescueEngine33 was alerted as the search company for a house fire on Box 5-8. RE33 arrived and completed searches throughout. The company operated for approximately 30 mins before returning to service.

This morning, #RescueEngine33 was dispatched as the Search Company to Water Fowl Way in Company 46’s area for the garage fire. Engine Co. 46 went on scene with fire showing from the garage of a 2-story SFD. RE33 arrived & completed primary searches on the first and second floor.

Rescue Engine extricated one on the Inner Loop - A rainy night in Landover brought a slew of accidents for RE33, including a cut job on the Capital Beltway.

Sunday morning, #RescueEngine33 was dispatched to Ritchie Rd. and Ashwood Dr. for an accident with entrapment. On arrival, there were two patients trapped in the same vehicle. The crew performed stabilization and a complete sidewall removal, freeing the trapped victims.

Around 0630 yesterday morning, #RescueEngine33 responded to the 6300 blk of Sheriff Rd for a PIA w/ entrapment. Once on scene, the men from Company 33 stabilized the vehicle and conducted a sidewall removal. RE33 was on scene for approx. 20 minutes before returning to service.

Kentland Volunteers drilled on various extrication and stabilization skills during a Rescue Engine drill held last weekend. These skills included: airbag setup and operation, stabilized a vehicle on its side, performed a total sidewall removal and a modified dash lift.

Kentland Volunteers spent this morning taking our little pumpkin on a fire safety walk & talk in the North Englewood neighborhood of our first due. We installed several smoke detectors, distributed fire safety literature & Sammy collected a few pets from some of the residents.

This morning around 0200 hours #RescueEngine33 was dispatched for a train derailment in Company 9’s first due. The crew worked with a CSX employee to relay hazards to command. The company operated for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.
