For reference: Badlands takes place way after Alien 4. Maybe even a millennia. We don't know. They didn't bother with a timeline. So...it makes no sense that a company that went belly up (possibly 1000 years ago) is suddenly up and running as if nothing happened.

Having a WY android in that time period, and even having the company around, breaks lore and continuity exactly the same way The rings of power does. Which you correctly pointed out, when that show did exactly that. Characters being around centuries after their deaths etc.

But you knew this no? You said you were basing you knowledge on the comics, novels, and movies? all of which just got contradicted utterly by Badlands? There are tons more plot-holes and lore-breakings. You should be able to spot them easily yourself then.

Bonus. Two predators fighting a blood war in it (duel kind of). One uses the cloaking device. That breaks lore and canon utterly, since it is seen as completely without honour by the predators. The predators are very honorable.

The movie takes place centuries after Alien 4 (which is Disney canon). In A4 we are told the Wyland Yutani crop has been gone for 300 years prior (bought by Walmart). The main character in Badlands is a WY droid. Timeline destroyed, lore destroyed. Seen as early as the trailer.
Only because I respect and love @KenobiStig (no homo) I took my precious time and argued. But unless you provide me with specific ways in which Badlands breaks the overall Predator lore (with examples) I cannot continue with this vague conversation.
