No surprise he’s K’ing more than 1 per IP. One of the nastiest changeups I’ve ever seen and a sweeper that gets 20 horizontal consistently. He has the ability to tunnel pitches north and south as well as east and west.

Edison HS Kaleb Fiscus was having trouble lead leg blocking.
Had him try Rockers to feel that lead leg extend into release. Then we added a lift. Finishing with walking windups.
This should give Kaleb a more stable base to throw from while potentially increasing velo & command.

1. -11.2 IVB on a changeup, consistently negative IVB🤢
2. FB/CB tunneling very well, didn’t capture the better located FBs at the top of the zone
3. Sweeper at 80 mph with 20 inches of horizontal🧹

Grip change for a pitcher w/ supination bias turned this slurve into a sweeper! 🧹
The offset 2-seam grip kept the index finger behind the ball, shifting the axis to 9:00 & allowed more horizontal break and less depth. Spin increased, velocity remained constant.

1. Pronated glove hand pulling lead shoulder open early.

The grip works very well for pronators. It’s almost a cheat code for guys with higher slots.
For supinators, it usually ends up getting more split type action. Still kills a fair amount of IVB, but doesn’t get much horizontal.
