(September 2, 2020) Cedar Rapids Mayor Brad Hart has signed an emergency proclamation making face coverings mandatory in public places throughout Cedar Rapids, whenever proper social distance cannot be maintained. The mandate is effective immediately.

I have worn a mask In research situations w/RNA & in the NICU. It was to prevent ME from contaminating everything. Billions in China/Japan& S Korea wear masks. Never had problems breathing. It is about showing others that you care enough not to make them sick not protect you.
