Just walked the playing surface at Glen Willow Mudgee for Saturday’s charity shield match between Sths and the Dragons, outstanding. As Sam Burgess said to me last year it’s a pleasure to get tackled on it.

Catching up with Ray Hadley tomorrow morning when he broadcasts live from the Mudgee Racing club. Everyone’s invited to breakfast with Ray and his team, Brilliant exposure for the region ,welcome Ray you won’t want to go back to Sydney.

Racing in Mudgee this Sunday at the Country Championships will feature Hugh Bowman. The champion jockey will ride in the feature event. The track is in mint condition, everyone is invited ,it will be a cracking meeting and day.

Huge interest in Latrell Mitchell turning out for Sths against the Dragons this weekend in Mudgee. More rain yesterday the Wembley of the West, Glen Willow looks picture perfect, as does the Mudgee turf club for the races the following day. A big weekend in the beautiful valley.
