People freaking out because Lamar Jackson agreed with the President that the Ravens picking him was a good thing is why Twitter is awesome and sad at the same time
People are really blaming Lamar Jackson for last night's loss? Come on man. He's the only reason they had a chance to win the game. Did he fumble trying to do too much in the 4th? Sure but why was he trying to do too much? He was getting zero help. Ravens get blown out w/out him
From the moment that Mark Ingram signed his 3 year deal with Ravens, it was expected to actually be a2 year deal. What was unexpected was the impact he had on and off the field in 2019. He wasn't here long but I think Ingram will hold a special place in the hearts of Ravens fans
We see what Diggs does for Allen. What Hopkins did for Murray and the early returns for AJ Brown with Hurts. For some reason the Ravens continue to stubbornly ignore this info. When you don't hit in the draft and won't spend money at WR in free agency you end up here
Completely agree with
@danorlovsky7
take about Lamar Jackson on Get Up. He wasn't his best Saturday but drops killed him early. For first time in months they got out physicaled at LOS. Got away from game plan. If you blame Lamar for loss you aren't watching
Orioles in the middle of a pennant race. Have a shot at winning 100 games for the first time since 1980. Seems like a prefect time to tell the fan base that you're not going to keep the band together.
Orioles came into today tied for most wins in all of MLB. Unfortunately nobody is talking about that because of what looks like an embarrassing situation with Kevin Brown. Oh and the governor had to answer questions about the Camden Yards lease at Ravens camp today. Good times
These Odell Beckham to the Ravens rumors (assuming he's released) make zero sense. The Ravens don't need wrs. Hollywood is having a great season, Bateman has proved to be legit in 2 games, Duvernay & Proche are contributing. Watkins will be back. Plus Andrews at TE. STOP IT!!
But sure keep signing Mike Wallace, Michael Crabtree, Jeremy Maclin, Willie Snead, Seth Roberts, Dez Bryant, DeSean Jackson etc and expecting a different dynamic result
Just my opinion but watching yesterday gave me more clarity on John Harbaugh's decision to go for 2 the last few weeks. He knows better than anyone what his defense is. Steal the game when you can
That 2022 Ravens draft is becoming legendary and that's with them getting nothing out of David Ojabo yet. Hamilton and Linderbaum are already amongst the best at their positions. Jones, Faalele, Likely, and Kolar all contribute plus Stoudt. Credit to Eric DeCosta
If the TMZ report is true, Earl Thomas was cheating on his wife and got caught. She put a gun to his head. He wrestled it away. Players don't get cut for cheating
Say what you will about rough patches and some struggles both offensively and pitching but the Orioles enter the final weekend before the All Star Break with the second best record in the AL and 3rd best in MLB. That's pretty amazing!!
For what it's worth I think that anyone who villainized Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the anthem loses the right to ask for or demand peaceful protests. Just my two cents
Did Lamar play poorly? Yes he was absolutely terrible but where were the adjustments Marty? Also kid leads you to playoffs and first bad game you boo him and beg for Joe? Shame on you. Please let's go with the old broken down rusty QB behind terrible o line. Should be great
Had a horrible nightmare. The Orioles were in first place with one of the more exciting teams in MLB but all anyone wanted to talk about was the team suspending their announcer for doing his job. Also they hadn't signed a lease yet unlocking up to 600m in free money. Crazy!
Mike Elias has built the number one farm system in baseball pretty quickly. He did with very limited production (so far) from Latin American players. That's coming. I also believe it's about building a title team not a 3rd wild card contender. I'm good with what O's did today
The Orioles are 35-21 at home. They are also 35-21 on the road. Baseball is crazy. Orioles have 50 games left. If they play 500 baseball the rest of the way they finish with 95 wins
As a lifelong Orioles fan this sale news feels like Christmas came early. This is GREAT news. The infusion of money should allow the Orioles to operate like a real franchise. Maybe this is liftoff
Why do people get mad when players sign these massive contracts? The money is being generated by these "kids games". Would you rather the owners just kept it all? Players deserve a piece of the action
I'm a massive fan of Lamar Jackson but facts are facts. His last great game was 10/11 vs Colts. His last good game was 11/7 vs Vikings. Ravens have warts but their MVP QB has to play much better than this. Might be a good idea to pull the 0 blitz plays out of the vault as well
Still trying to process the fact that the Ravens shutout the Chiefs in the second half. They basically shut them down after the first two drives of the game only giving up a FG before half aided by 30 yards in penalties. All that and they lost. Offense was brutally ineffective
Two things that amuse me:
#Ravens
fans who watched the old QB play poorly for four years but blindly defend him yet have decided the new QB stinks & is a finished product after 8 games. Also
#Orioles
fans who knew the team would be bad this year but are upset that they're umm bad
Seeing the Ramsey to Dolphins rumors after what the Eagles did last year. I just appreciate teams going for it while they still have cost certainty at QB. Whatever you think of Lamar Jackson now the Ravens not building around him on his rookie deal will always be a failure
This is not about competing for a third wild card. It's about being a team that can compete for a world series on a regular basis. It can be done even in the big bad AL East. Tampa has proven that. Eyes on the prize
#Birdland
I'm to the point with the Ravens where maybe it's best if they miss the playoffs. All the injuries and now covid. It's impossible to win a super bowl with all of that. Get everyone healthy and run it back next year. Plus get a better draft pick
The crazy thing about today was I felt Todd Monken was fantastic all season. That includes the adjustments he made at halftime last week vs Texans. Today was not his day. When your OC and your quarterback both have bad games it's probably not going to be your day
Hate if you must but Lamar Jackson was the best player on the field today and he didn't even have full week of practice. He's only going to get better. When is the last time
#Ravens
defense was fresh because offense was able to dominate time of possession??
What's insane about the Orioles right now is they fall behind in a game and I don't worry. I expect them to come back. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way. Am I?
Ravens had first and goal in a 17-17 game. They never scored again and lost. This game felt in many ways like this season. Missed opportunities. Mental errors. Time for some change
How much change? We'll see
Orioles fans soak this in. It's been really fun. Trades will be coming and they should because it's not about being fun today it's about being really good tomorrow. Plus based on his recent track record I'm going to trust in Mike Elias
Many will criticize the Orioles for selling today when they are "close to the playoffs". A lot of the same people who have been critical of this rebuild the whole time. Eyes on the prize. It's about being a world series contender
The "stick to sports" crowd is going to run out of things to watch. Athletes aren't gladiators here just for your entertainment. They are also human beings. They are also the product and they have power
I don't know what will happen tomorrow. I expect the Ravens to win but I don't know. I hope Ravens fans have enjoyed this ride so far. This has been the best and most fun regular season I've ever seen. Can't wait to see the playoffs bring!
If we don't get sports back this year while we watch Europe and Asia return to the field it will be because we were just too stubborn and stupid to do the right things. It's not an opinion. They did and they're back. We didn't and... We'll see
I'll admit when Orioles lost Friday night and Gallen was looming on Sunday (11-1 at home going into today) I thought they might get swept for the first time this season. Instead they take next two to win the series. This team man!!!
Austin Hays will likely return Friday (or soon thereafter). He will either replace Heston Kjerstad or Ryan McKenna
The case to send down Kjerstad: he would benefit from playing everyday at AAA
The case to DFA McKenna: he's not good
A reminder for people ready to cut bait on Jackson Holliday after 2 games. Remember how Colton Cowser looked last season and look at him now. Jackson will be just fine. Baseball is a game of patience
#Ravens
should strongly consider signing Le'Veon Bell in off season. Lamar running RPO's with Bell would be a considerably better offense than what they have right now
FWIW I think Kenny Golladay is just what this Ravens offense needs. I feel he'd be for Lamar Jackson what Diggs was for Josh Allen. Difference maker on offense. That said Ravens don't spend like that on offense. Watkins is their kind of guy. Doesn't upset comp formula
What do people dream about? I've lately been dreaming about how much different this Ravens offense would be if they traded for DeAndre Hopkins. A real number one wr would've done wonders for Lamar Jackson. Would've made Hollywood better as well. Oh well dreams are fun
It is amazing that sports are going on without problems in the rest of the world and we can't get through a weekend of baseball without an outbreak. Please though continue to tell us mask wearing infringes upon your rights. Keep doubting science
One thing is abundantly clear, it doesn't matter who is at quarterback for the

I beg you. Don't hire a manager just because he's familiar to the fan base. Actually please don't hire a manager until you've decided what to do at gm. Better yet hire a new gm. Let him run things without interference and let him hire his manager. Thank you
who are the major players in free agency? The bad teams. Sure the Chiefs signed honey badger but for the most part it's the bad teams with tons of cap room throwing money around. Championships aren't won in March.
In their last two games, a win at Seattle and beating New England at home, the Ravens may have served notice that they're as good as any team in the NFL
#Ravens
made Chiefs very uncomfortable in their own house. Were two fourth down conversions away from victory. Very happy with most of what I saw today
#Ravens
need playmakers. If they would've signed honey badger, it's a lot of money, but at least he's a playmaker. CJ isn't that guy. I was prepared for weddle, Suggs and CJ to be gone this off season. Let's give Decosta more than 24 hrs in new league year before killing him
First Mancini now Lopez. Would expect Santander to go before 6pm. I believe this will be the final sell off. This about the future not the present and I'm very excited about the future of the Orioles!!
Fact: Lamar Jackson will not be starting at quarterback tomorrow for the Ravens
Opinion: Lamar Jackson will never start at QB again for the Ravens.
There will be reports of negotiations but I predict he'll be traded by the draft
Joe Flacco inked a 1-year deal with the Eagles to continue his career. Will he eventually land in the

Watching football today I feel the NFL needs to have a conference call with all their officiating crews ASAP. It's gotten past the point of really bad. They're going to turn people off with all of this over officiating. Mix in the incompetence and you understand fans anger
#Ravens
survived an atrocious 2nd quarter from their rookie QB and still won their 3rd in a row. The reason? Their commitment to the running game. They keep the ball and keep their defense fresh. All of that goes away the minute Joe goes back in
The mo show is absolutely amazing. John Harbaugh and buck showalter were excellent. I loved the Carmelo Anthony shout out but my favorite part was Bob in Parkville telling the audience there were no racial problems back in the day when his dad umpired negro league games...
It's nice to see the chiefs offense be true to itself. It's not like they came out today and ran the wishbone or played the opposite of how they have played all year. Do what makes you great. Don't outsmart yourself
#Ravens
Next Rubenstein video. He is seen pulling all the city connect unis out of the lockers in clubhouse. Cut to him in parking lot. He's got gasoline by his side and jerseys are in pile in front of him. He looks into camera and says, "am I doing this right?" (Cont)
Never saw Brooks Robinson play but the man was an absolute legend in my house growing up. As good as he was as a player (he was damn good) he was an even better person. Any interaction I've ever had with him he couldn't have been nicer. We lost a good one today. RIP Brooks
Over the last two weeks the Ravens have played two games in six days against the best in football. They've outscored the 49ers and Dolphins 89-38. That's domination
