My Christmas musical tour is about to begin! On the 4th it starts at Symonds restaurant at Audley Redwood after dinner I’ll be performing a mix of Christmas & classic songs then off to Cheltenham,Taunton,Calne,Chippenham Thornbury,Highridge,Whitchurch & finally Westbury on Trym!

I just wanted to thank everyone who came to The Angel Inn, Long Ashton last Sunday! It was a brilliant late afternoon and £420 was raised for @CHSW Particular thanks to Vicki and Andy Inker and to everyone who contributed the money ……… and their voices! 😂 Brilliant!

Thanks to everyone at The Angel Inn, Long Ashton, for what was a brilliant late afternoon! I took a big chance on a couple of ‘singalongs’ but they went down a storm! Not sure I should have done the 2nd encore though! 😂😂😂 You were a fantastic audience!

Today is the last day of the 47 years that the Caravan Club has been at Baltic Wharf. There is now no Caravan Club in Bristol, apart from the Downs. Just flats. The Harbour is just a housing estate. Half the boats priced out by the Docks Estate having to balance its books.

Great food, drinks, atmosphere ……. and music! Four weeks tomorrow at The Angel Inn, Long Ashton. A great selection of songs (and I know what they are! 😂) Also, I’ll be supporting @CHSW with a donations bucket and credit card reader.

Looks a little chaotic on the Bristol harbour this evening - Gigs, rowers, sea scouts, harbour tours … and sailing and to top it off the Thatchers and Virgin hot air balloons overhead! And all,of this ahead of the Bristol Harbour Festival this weekend!

A lovely evening for a walk around the Cumberland Basin & we came across the Port of Bristol Shanty Crew about to perform outside of the Nova Scotia pub! It would have been rude to just walk on, so we got a drink & had a listen! They also arranged for the hot air balloons!😂

Not sure how much the ‘improvements’ to Bristols city centre are costing us, @BristolCouncil, but if this is the completed standard of the works, then I want my money back! I’m thinking the terrible fountains were better & can’t the contractor get their levels right? Shocking!

When will England learn that slow and predictable play does not overcome teams who have 11 players in the final third! Latvia should be level - they had the best chance! I’m not going to get this 52 mins of my life back!!!

Looks like another section of the footpath behind Temple Meads is being moved to its ‘Southern Gateway’ location. The 400m footpath from the new Uni campus to the ferry stop at BTM, will allegedly cost £9.7m, a significant overrun on the original budget of £2.5m! 😬

Despite having a busy March, music-wise, I’ve just answered a ‘last minute’ (not really last minute but.. )call for a Dinner show! With great LAGC food, & 30 ‘top 5’ hits from the 60’s 70’s & 80’s, it’ll be a good night if, like me, you were doing nothing on that Friday! 😂

A busy weekend with 2 ‘Charity’ appearances! The Curry and Music night for Long Ashton GC’s Captain’s charity-Jesse May Trust, which raised an excellent £1000! The next day it was a Breast Cancer Awareness one hour show at Badminton Place. Two excellent audiences!
