I’m all in on the theory of Lebron to Dallas And here’s why: Lakers are moving on from lebron because of his age But can’t judge trade him because of how that looks They need a new star (Luka) Dallas has 2 of LeBron’s friends - and Klay - to be the structure for a comeptitor

All star suggestions: Skills challenge - remove it 1v1 - include it Dunk contest with defender - add it Have non NBA guys in the dunk comp - absolutely

More likely? 1v1 at Allstar weekend Or Dunk contest with a defender?

NBA and WNBA pet peeve: Reporters starting a question with ‘im just curious…’ It doesn’t need to be added to a sentence In fact, the only reason I suspect it’s added, is to demonstrate naivety and defuse a situation

Overall, really good trade deadline by Dunleavy And now it’s over to Kerr to maximise it Plus, I actually think having Butler’s edge will replace the edge I genuinely feel like Dray has lost

I also think KD wasn’t ever on the table Phoenix allegedly didn’t want Miami’s butler and JRich trade offer because they spent so heavily to get KD initially And even the GSW trade offer of butler and pieces was rejected I don’t think phx were ever serious

The more I review it, the more I think the warriors did great business securing butler Again, a 2 year deal is risk free because you improve your team AND don’t get into Butler’s ‘danger zone’ with teams The team lost Klay but basically added players AND butler

NBA Question: Why do home team wear road jerseys? When did that happen? Why does that happen?

I’m currently at the point in the Luka trade where, although I fully see the potential of AD & Ky, and even though I think they’ll make another big move in offseason… …there’s nothing that will replace Luka being traded A player of that caliber won’t be seen again in my life

Both golden state and Miami did well out of the deal: Miami removes a player who didn’t want to be there and gained multiple assets to plug in to a winning team GSW added an top tier talent on a short deal which will align with Curry’s career Win-win

I’m refreshing Twitter for NBA trade news like I used to refresh teletext for football news

I’ll say it: KD and Jimmy switching teams is the right move for both ball clubs Jimmy has something that KD doesn’t - KD is arguably too similar to Booker And KD on the Heat, under a Team USA coach, alongside bam and Tyler… 😮💨

Which was the Mavs last year Ripping the heart out of the team is only second to the Bulls blowing up their 3-peat team

If the aim of an nba team is to win a title, is the second best version of being the team that wins it all in a season, to be a team that gets to the finals and does it with a guy they drafted Who also happens to be mid 20’s And one of the best players on the planet

It’s the softest landing spot for him - anywhere else is either a non competitor or the fit isn’t right His timeline for his career - 2/3 years - tied in with probably the remaining years of Kyrie and AD Both teams get what they want And that’s WHY it happened how it did

They just need that final piece - initially I thought they’d make a play for KD but they haven’t got enough to give up But the lebron signing makes sense He has a player option for next year Has he already been briefed that this needs to be the move

Imagine if nico’s whole play was to get lebron and AD in Dallas… Give up Luka and allow the lakers time to run Luka and lebron for a year And then LeBron joins Dallas As I’m, that was the whole plan - pelinka gave up the right to re-sign lebron for Luka
