Tilehurst station had a bizarre situation: a waiting room with an accessiblilty ramp was on platform 4. Sadly though, no platforms with stopping trains were accessible to wheelchair users! We ran a petition in 2018 for accessibility improvements which collected⊠(1/3)

It was a long fight, but Network Rail this afternoon confirmed the lifts at Tilehurst Station we campaigned for are finally open for public use! The station should now be fully accessible. Huge thanks to everyone who signed our petition - your support helped us win this for you.
