Our good friend and colleague Katey Barrett died this past weekend. She was a brilliant artist and a wonderful advocate for the Keeneland Library.

Archarcharch was one of my favorites. Just a stout, solid dude who threw strong-looking foals, and it seemed like everyone involved had good minds. I wish heβd had more success with his runners, but he was one Iβd want on my side in a fight any day of the week.
