“Used to play a game where
we would pick a decade
We wish we could live in
Instead of this
I’d say the 1830s
But without all the racists
And getting married off
For the highest bid”
- Taylor Swift, Rolling Stones 97th greatest Song Writer ever
Putting “poet” in the title of this album was such a bad idea. Now everyone’s so hyper fixated on the lyrics, no one is talking about how bad the songs themselves are

Like Drake and Trippie Redd showed up in his top 15 and he doesn’t even like their music. I can’t imagine having to listen to that much of music purely for criticism purposes
On ASTROWORLD, Can’t Say caused Don Toliver to go from underground to mainstream. Could the same thing happen to Westside Gunn after his awesome feature on LOST FOREVER? 🤔
“Anthony Fantano’s opinion doesn’t matter”
Well if you truly believe that, take a look at Drakes Spotify page, pre and post, Fantano’s FATD review. It’s staggering to say the least.
It blows my mind that artists work on albums til like hours right before it’s supposed to drop. They’re literally like the kid working on homework while the teacher is collecting it
Anthony Fantano claims ‘Fortnite Festival’ has given him a “new respect” for musicians.
“I wasn’t expecting music to be this difficult to actually play. It’s really making me reconsider some of my reviews.”
This is so smart when you think about it. Each song will get streamed a couple times by his fans. So if his 12 remaining fans each stream it 10 times, that’s 4.8k streams. Genius plan honestly
There exists a tier between underground and mainstream artists. I call it “dirt”. These Dirt artists are artists who aren’t Mainstream but not Underground either.
When SK tweets out “watching” I immediately rush to my TV to put on the same movie. I pretend I’m watching it with him. “Hahaha that was funny, right sk!” I say. I throw popcorn into the air next to me and pretend he’s catching it in his mouth. Movie night with sk is fun.
