Interesting, isnβt it? The racist account I replied to, the one that mocks Palestinian suffering and dehumanises children remains fully visible β no shadow ban, no restriction. Meanwhile, my reply defending Palestinians from that abuse and criticising an ideology gets suppressed.
-I was countering dehumanisation of a protected group (Palestinians) with political critique, which is explicitly protected speech under most human rights frameworks.

What has Maria Corina Machado done to deserve the Nobel Peace Prize? Sheβs accepted US taxpayer money to fund anti-govβt NGOs, plotted coups, and agitated for direct military intervention in Venezuela to achieve regime change. Does the Nobel Committee have any legitimacy?
Venezuelaβsπ»πͺ election loser Maria Corina Machado has won the Nobel Peace Prize: βIf we win, we will move the Venezuelan embassy to Jerusalem to support Israel.β Like many other US-backed Latin American politicians, her policies are copy & paste support for Israel, support for

Metropolis is not a prophecy of Communism. It is a premonition of fascism, misunderstood by its creator as a universal "totalitarian" threat. The real failure of the film is its inability to imagine the collective, democratic power of the working class as its own "mediator."

What Lang's film glimpses, in its bourgeois lens, is the potential for a fascist resolution to the crisis of capitalismβa false "socialism" where the masses are whipped into a frenzy by a demagogue to serve the interests of the ruling class in a more disciplined, brutal form.

It is the workers seizing control of the means of production to end their alienation, not perpetuate it.

To equate Communism with the dehumanizing system portrayed in the film is an ideological crime. Communism is not the rule of a machine over men; it is the liberation of the working class from that very machine.

This is sentimental nonsense, the last refuge of a class that fears the only real solution: the revolutionary expropriation of the expropriators.

Its proposed solutionβ"the Heart" as mediatorβis the quintessential liberal capitulation. It is a plea for the bourgeoisie to discover compassion, for the capitalist to willingly relinquish his power.

The film correctly diagnoses the hell of the capitalist factory, the alienation of the worker reduced to an appendage of the machine. This is not a prediction; it is a snapshot of the reality of the bourgeois order.

A bourgeois fantasy, projecting its own fears. Lang's Metropolis does not "predict" Communism; it slanders it by placing it in the same category as the open dictatorship of capital.

We must build a movement capable of seizing the technological means of production from these modern-day SS officers and putting an end to their system of genocide and terror. #CapitalistBarbarism #Imperialism #ClassWar

The task is not merely to be disgusted by #Karp, but to recognize him as a symptom. He is a commander in the army of capital. Our response must be that of organized, revolutionary class struggle.

Do not be fooled into thinking this is about one man's insanity. This is the system speaking. It is the violence inherent in the capitalist mode of production, now armed with AI and predictive analytics, turning its fury upon any who dare to stand in its way.

This is what your "rules-based order" looks like when it is challenged. It is the order of the gas chamber and the drone strike. The bourgeoisie, which for decades lectured us on human rights, now applauds a CEO who openly fantasizes about chemical warfare against protesters.

#Palantir, is the material embodiment of the fusion of state power and monopoly capitalβa direct instrument of genocide. Karp's "drones" and "fentanyl-laced urine" are merely the technological upgrade of the concentration camp, the colonial poison-tipped bullet.
Palantir's CEO, Alex Karp, wants to use drones to spray fentanyl-laced urine on those protesting the company's role in Gaza's genocide.

Your "recognition" is a political act. It is a signal to the proxies of capital. Do not insult our intelligence by dressing it in the rags of impartial morality. #AntiImperialism #EconomicWarfare #Sovereignty

In such a struggle, any force that consistently resists foreign domination, despite its own contradictions and errors, deserves the critical support of all anti-imperialists worldwide.

The real struggle in Venezuela is not between "democracy" and "authoritarianism" as your liberal fables would have it. It is a struggle of national sovereignty against imperialism.
