The City of Labelle has truly touched my heart. At the recent delegation mting, they played this video for the planting of a tree in honor of my late husband, John. I am so grateful for this city, their leadership and citizens. Watch the video here:

This week, had the opportunity to visit the welding program at @LivelyTechTally. In my move to Tallahassee ahead of the upcoming committee hearings, an antique table was damaged. The students in the program agreed to weld the leg back on & repair this family heirloom. Thank you!

#POWMIA Day recognizes U.S. Prisoners of War and those still missing in action. We continue to pray for a safe return home.

Also during the Hendry County meeting, the City of Clewiston announced the new bridge over the C-21 Canal to Lake Okeechobee will be named in my honor. I can't wait to show my grandsons. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Florida’s Sweetest Town. I am incredibly honored.

The leaders showed a video of its planting and presented me with a plaque. Later, I got to visit “John” for myself. I look forward to many happy returns to this region to see the wonderful people, watch this tree grow and witness the community thrive.

Florida's Heartland is so full of HEART. I attended my final Hendry County delegation meeting this afternoon in La Belle, and I was overcome by the gratefulness of this community. The LaBelle City Council planted a Live Oak named for my “John” in honor of my public service.

More than 60 residents came out to share their proposals today on issues ranging from education to housing to budget. We’ll continue to work to advance your priorities in the State Capitol.

Today was my 15th & final Collier County legislative delegation meeting. I’m grateful to my colleagues - @LaurenMeloFL, @headboatwasher and @BenarrochYvette - for their partnership & support. Most of all, I’m thankful to this community for giving me the opportunity to serve.

With an average of 290 American children diagnosed with cancer each week, it is critical that we continue to push for a cure to this awful disease. 🎗️ Through research and innovation, I believe we can. #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth

On 9/11 extreme terrorists took the lives of more than 3,000 American civilians in an effort to divide our nation. But they failed. We came together as one to grieve, to fight back and to rebuild. May we never forget.

So surprised and humbled to receive the first John Thrasher Lifetime Achievement Award from @VoiceofFLBiz. What an honor to be recognized by my friends and colleagues who advocate for the small businesses, large employers, innovators and job creators that power our economy.
