While renovating the kitchen in our old house in Trevallyn I discovered that the window sills were made of Huon pine. I salvaged a few pieces 18 years later I’ve carved a small dish out of this chunk as a b’day present for my son. Left the nail hole as a reminder of its origin 🔨

It’s appears that a HUGE number of Americans think that the new tariffs aka import taxes will be paid by the foreign countries whose goods are being exported to the US. Do they really have no idea how import taxes work? Don’t answer that 🙄

Covid is rampant because it’s a highly contagious airborne disease & hardly anyone bothers to modify their behaviour to take this into account. However, the underlying blame is surely with PH departments who have totally abandoned any pretence of facilitating “public health”
