October is AAC awareness month so I thought I'd re-share the four Ps model we use to describe the different types of AAC at @barnsleyAT. I prefer these terms to 'low tech' and 'high tech' as they give equal value to all forms of AAC, which people might use alone or together.

4. My client hasn't stopped telling everyone what a brilliant experience it was to meet others who stammer openly and don't allow it to stop them achieving their goals 💪 and how he's looking forward to joining such a supportive group! 🤗

3. Next thing I knew, I was put in touch with the Youth Panel's organiser Connor, had a video call for my client to chat to 5 bright members about their experiences of stammering, and they even made reasonable adjustments for his LD and encouraged him to become a member! 🤗❤️
