I never met my papa but when my nana spoke about him her eyes sparkled. I went to #austria 🇦🇹 to hike a very special mountain #Traunstein.#gmunden. Full video.

I went to #austria to hike #Traunstein. It’s 1,691 metres high and is visible from a great distance, Elsie’s dad joked as we were on the train to Gmunden “is that your mountain” I laughed back and said “I hope not”. Long story short it was.

I grew up listening to stories from my nana about a very special mountain in Austria. I recently got the opportunity to travel there and see its beauty with my own eyes and attempt to climb it. It was a very special and emotional day.
