Q8: Time to really empathize with the experiences others have daily. We so often think we know what someone’s day-to-day is like, but we really don’t. Time to discuss our realities and challenges as a group can build appreciation - be comfortable with vulnerability. #dtk12chat.

A7: I think this comes from not feeling “seen”. Its hard to be seen with no personal connection. Lack of connection makes gratitude feel scarce. When people feel valued for the things they are putting effort into, they spread gratitude because it feels abundant. #dtk12chat.

A6: Being present is huge. Stay connected to people, remember the details about them, make them feel valued. Administration is so busy, so it’s hard to be at school sites frequently, but it goes such a long way when a visit is informal and to express thanks. #dtk12chat.
