I didnât know I had stage 4 cancer (Hodgkinâs lymphoma). It had spread to both lungs and all through my body. My only symptom was tiredness and a nagging cough. This is a stop spreading conspiracy theories about Joe Bidenâs cancer diagnosis post.

And to clarify, they won't struggle to compete due to a lack of skills, ability, or potential. Their application details will be less impressive (lower GPAs, test scores, fewer fancy extra curriculars and internships) due to access/privilege issues beyond their control.

If UW-Madison wants to be truly "merit based," the student body will be dominated by kids from Madison, Milwaukee area, Chicago area, and the coasts, aka kids with better access to resources and greater privilege. Rural (often white) Wisconsinites will struggle to compete.

One culture that will be lost will be rural Wisconsinites. Their high schools don't offer 15 AP classes (and the sky-high GPAs that go w/). They have less access to the fancy act/sat prep. They don't have a gazillion extra-curricular opps. They live farther from internship opps.
UW System budget âcompletely out of sync with what is available,â former Gov. Thompson says by Elijah Pines Thompson told one audience member that while he loves having different cultures on campus, education should be merit based. https://t.co/KYtPD9pFQT

To everyone who is afraid of what happens next, I share your fears. But what we do next is important. We have to learn from what happened. And then, make a plan. As we confront a second Trump presidency, hereâs a path forward: đ§ľ

Nah. Iâm a white woman & people talk about the harmful things ww do all the time. As they should. Instead of whining about it I listen & reflect & if it doesnât apply to me I move on. If it does I think about why & how to do better so it wonât in the future. Grow the fuck up.
@themptycas @firebornnn stop saying "all men" it's that simple. Because every single one of those "all men are trash" or "id choose the bear" posts adds up and are seen by guys who would otherwise be potentially sympathetic to a feminsit political project, especially if it was tied to economic leftism

A primary duties of a parent of boys in 2024 is to keep them away from radicalizing platforms for as long as possible. No unmonitored media consumption, constant talks about what they're doing and where they're doing it, and making sure friends' parents are on the same page.
One of the many things to reflect on is that there is no substantial left-leaning answer to the far-rightâs stranglehold on media for young men. Young men who watch YouTube, listen to podcasts, or play video games (so, all of them) are being funneled en masse to these guys:
