some game progress! thanks to my good friend @BaileyForms I now have a design for the main character, he's a little fella and an orange lemur, when I get some free time I'll start to work on his 3d model and get him working in the game prototype!

some progress! starting to get a grip on godot and I really like it! some basic stuff right now like movement and basic toon shaders, but so far I'm really happy with this learning progress

after some thinking about it, i might pickup and learn godot, i've worked with unreal for years and it's what im used to, but being real for what i want to make here i dont think unreal is the right option, ontop of that i actually want the game to run at a stable framerate
not much progress today but working on adding momentum build-up and added some more animations for flare

Got a homing attack functioning!! it's becoming real fun just to mess around in the test level, was mostly able to get this working by using the Sonic Infinity engine framework and repurposing it to fit in the project, because of that the recital will likely change in the future

Another month another game to work on, now im working on a silly platformer inspired by some really good indie platformers i've seen recently. (to name them because they deserve it: @TheRollinRascal @MortMort_ and any more that are similar) any suggestions would be goated

It sucks to see this happen, even if it is “le big company” the hype for the game was gonna be huge but now it’s ruined for some, along w the news that “modders we’re gonna go through the leaked game and “fix” and bugs or patches” like it’s early alpha footage what do you expect

Got the flashlight to have a lil beam that goes w it now, this took longer than i'd like to admit. And the lighting all over looks a lot better now

Got multiplayer working, changed up the prototype character from the lil box guy to make him look more special, added a torch and stamina along with messing around with the movement and gave the character a bit of light, also made proxy chat work correctly (didnt show in the vid)

Made a modular PSX shader for the game I’m working on, (first two posts were on @King_O_Karma ) I’ll post a video update later when I’m home

I don't post on here a lot but I posted a video recently on my YouTube https://t.co/DlanHMKSGQ and I know it's only small numbers but I'm really happy to see a video that's not a bloopers reel of pyro performing really well!
