Life. A friend got buried today. Another got married today. I couldn't be there for any of them, because of distance & due to an impending hospital visit for an excruciating procedure. Life, & the way it comes hot-and-cold sometimes can be confusing. Ugly, beautiful. All of it.

Hanging out at my favourite bookstore. It’s in Opẹbi, Ikeja and it’s called @Ouida_Lagos. Very nice place. Lovely ambience. Sweet staff. Great vibe. Fantastic selection of books. Superb cafe. Quiet workspace. Amazing performance space. 😀

Rummaging through my short stories folder & I'm realizing that 7 out of a total 15 are based heavily on real-life people & events. A particular one even 97% true, with names & places accounting for the 3% fiction. I'm just pondering: What a strange life I've lived so far!.#TKAM.
