This evening Hawver’s Capitol Report posted: Former U.S. Rep. & State Sen. Jan Meyers, 90, died today in an Overland Park nursing home. She served 12-years on the OP city council, then 12 in the KS Senate, and finally 12 more in Congress (3rd CD). She retired in 1997. Godspeed.
