A new preprint led by @VivekHariSunda1 showed Oryza-specific histone, the H4 variant, assists chromatin regulation and contributes to stress tolerance. Congratulations @VivekHariSunda1 @shivaprasad_pv.
Another preprint from Superhero Vivek Hari Sundar's stellar PhD work. We report the first Histone H4 Variant from plants. Oryza genera-specific novel Histone H4 variant predisposes H4 Lysine5 Acetylation marks to modulate salt stress responses #bioRxiv.
