It's time for our company to grow up and start using business grade routers/firewalls. We are 15 people (and growing), need to get wired workstations onto the Internet, run reliable VPN tunnels at high throughput, and get useful metrics. Where do we start? Cisco? SonicWall...?

I took some time to performance profile the small Google Cloud-based build system we use for our Unity projects. Results here: https://t.co/iXVlmXnLAe Slightly surprised that adding extra vCPUs helped so little.

It took digging through old dusty storage rooms, soldering jobs, rescuing files off of failing hard drives, a fair bit of trademark/IP archaeology, but now there is a team, a publisher and funding behind this. Was lots of fun helping out with getting this project started again!
