Ukraine’s winter grain crop planting stands at 411,000 hectares or 9% of the forecast; including 364KHA of wheat and 32KHA of barley. As a reminder, Ukraine planted 6.5MHA of winter wheat and 969KHA of winter barley last year.

Saying g’bye 2 very high #agri prices means the @RabobankAU Rural Commodity Price Index now sits at 212, ⬇️ from 248 in Q2, & we think it’ll be ~ 195 in mid ‘23. That means still good pricing historically, but w. input costs staying high, making good margins will be less easy

Reports of Odesa having 20mmt storage capacity is incorrect & irresponsible As per @NikGorbachov of @UkrGrain prior to the War, Ukraine 🇺🇦 had 1,200 inland grain silos with capacity to store 66mmt of grain/ oilseeds. Ukrainian ports could store c. 6mmt. @SergeyFeofilov
