KTCL makes sure that all their buses leaving the depot are properly sanitised. A solution of sodium hydrochloride is utilized to keep the surfaces clean and hygienic. The state-run transport corporation makes sure all norms are in place as safety is foremost. #GoaFightsCovid19

45 tourists from Ahmedabad, Gujarat ; who were stranded in Goa, due to the lockdown, have safely reached their hometown. The KTCL buses reached Gujarat yesterday at 4pm. We’d like to show our gratitude towards the Goa govt and KTCL, for coming forward and lending a helping hand.

Stranded tourists from Surat and Ahmedabad who were stuck here since March 2020 are being safely dropped back to their respective home towns. Goa Police granted permission to Mr Gopal Patel, for two KTCL buses from NSS to take these tourists back to Gujarat.

KTCL has commenced regular operations, as per Govt demands. A count of 146 staff are on duty at different bus stands, depots and at the Head Office. 2 buses have been put into service at Molle, carrying quarantined migrant workers with the permission of the Additional Collector.

On 18th March 2020, 4 buses were duly sanitised and stationed at the airport to carry foreigners and NRIs to ESIC hospital for check up. This operation continued till 24th March, where the last aircraft landed at Dabolim airport.

On the 9th of March 2020, Shri Venancio Furtado, Managing Director of KTCL conducted a programme to sensitize all Heads of the department and officers. They were apprised, and told about discipline to be maintained at the workplace, so as to arrest the spread of the virus.

The State govt, has supplied medical infrared thermometers. These will be used to check govt employees before they board the bus. These thermometers are non-contact based, and can check a person's temperature from 5-10 cms distance. #GoaFightsCOVID19

Dr. Annette, Epidemiologist of the Urban Health centre conducted a session, sensitizing KTCL employees in Margoa. On taking precautions against COVID-19, at home and on duty too. The same session was conducted by Dr. Naik of Asilio hospital at the Porvorim depot respectively.

KTCL are going to be introducing special buses for government staff. There are certain allocated areas, both in North and South Goa. All govt employees are requested to carry their id, masks, and keep social distancing while travelling in the bus. #Covid_19

33 Iranian nationals were transported to Mumbai's Chatrapati Shivaji International airport. Hon. MLA of Vasco and Chairman of KTCL Mr. Carlos Almeida co-ordinated with Mr. Ahmed Namazi and Consul General of Iran to have these nationals safely moved back to their country.

Vasco MLA and Hon'ble Chairman of K.T.C.L, Carlos Almeida carried out a cleanliness drive to stop spreading CORONA VIRUS at Vasco bus stand. The same was carried out at Margao bus stand too. And the same drive will be carried out at all bus stands of KADAMBA TRANSPORT CORP. LTD.
