Keeping STEM club busy on the last few days by designing keychains with our new @glowforge. Kids were so engaged plus they get a personalized end of the year gift to take home! Two more days to go in NYCPS!

At our final GEG of the year, we had a blast with my Lego challenge breakout! The challenge? Create a minifig that represents you & can hang by your computer camera—perfect for Google Meets. Trust me, it’s trickier than it sounds but so fun! Share pics if you try it on your own!

Wednesday was a @Google-filled day! We explored Gemini with the amazing team of @NerdyBryant, @Techteachernyc, @projectrecess, and @YouthInnovator. It was a collaborative experience that ignited our creativity with AI. We ended the day with this years final GEG! #NYCSchoolsTech

Choosing just a few pictures to capture the magic of the event was a challenge but I tried! A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day unforgettable for our students! @PlayCraftLearn

We showed up & gave it our all, but it just wasn’t our day! Congratulations to Brooklyn on their victory! Even though we didn't come out on top, we created memories that will last a lifetime. We were so proud to represent Queens at the NYC Minecraft Battle of the Boroughs.

I still have to collect all my pictures and put something together but thank you to everyone and anyone who helped organize this day for our kids! It was an amazing event!.

3/3 They grew a confidence in themselves that trickled into all other academic areas. This is what esports does for kids! It gives them a purpose, voice and a place to shine! I am so proud to be their coach. Next stop Battle of the Boroughs!.

2/3 The Friday before the competition even arranged a practice without me while I was out for a meeting. They persevered through problems, learned how to be cool under pressure & truly became a collaborative powerhouse.

1/3 On Saturday PS24Q’s Team Sigma was crowned Queens Minecraft Battle of the Boroughs Champs! But Esports is more than just competition & awards. For an entire year I watched my kids show up every day. They came to me seeking feedback on how they could get better.
