The U.S 31-W Bypass in Bowling Green between the roundabout and U.S 231 Broadway Avenue is reopening now. Crews will still be working in the area on and off for an undetermined amount of days. Lane closures are possible. Motorists should slow down and use caution in the area.

The new Kentucky Welcome Center at the KY/TN line on I-65 in Simpson County is getting closer to opening. The facility is bigger, features upgraded technology, additional truck parking and is fully ADA compliant. The new facility is expected to open by the end of the year.

Hey Bowling Green! An event being held at Beech Bend this weekend could bring up to 40,000 people to the city. Local traffic is advised to avoid the U.S 31-W Louisville Road/Bypass area and KY 185/Garvin Lane area, particularly on Saturday. Other areas will see extra traffic too.

Great news everyone! The project to rehabilitate and resurface I-65 from the 13 mile marker to the 26 mile marker in Warren County is just about finished. Motorists now have about 12 miles of new surface on six lanes to drive on I-65 in both directions.

HEADS UP BOWLING GREEN! Multiple concrete medians are being constructed on US 68X Russellville Road near WKU’s Campus. The medians will improve safety by physically eliminating left turns at those spots. The roadway will also be resurfaced.

The new KY 100 Bridge over West Bays Fork in Allen County opened late this afternoon. There is still a lot of work left to be done before the project is completed, but we wanted to get the bridge open to traffic as soon as possible due to the detour.
