A new prestressed concrete beam was placed on the Carter Road Bridge over U.S. 60 in Owensboro on Wednesday. The old beam, damaged in a bridge strike last summer, can be seen in the foreground.

Paving will begin along the "U.S. 41 Strip" in Henderson tonight from 6pm to 7am. Paving is planned from U.S. 60 on/off ramps to U.S. 41 (16.2 mile point) to the state line (20.87 mp). The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of July.

A crash at the CSX crossing on Madison Street/ KY 136 in Henderson is blocking four crossings in the city of Henderson: Madison Street (21.7 mm), Washington Street, Clay Street/ KY 812 (7.9 mm) and Powell Street. Anticipated duration for the closure is 5-6 hours.

(June 25, 2025) – U.S. 231 in Ohio County is blocked at Russell Rd by a crash in Ohio County. Motorists are being detoured from U.S. 231 to Crossroads Drive to KY 2151 (Pleasant Ridge Lane) to English Road, which will take them back to U.S. 231.
