It takes me only seconds to determine if a website fails to meet basic Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (#WCAG). When applying for an accessibility developer role, make sure you are one. If a site is not accessible, it's broken. #a11y #accessibility #dev #inclusion

Thank you to everyone who has sent me DMs! I will be reviewing DMs only, not the thread. Additionally, I have over 40 DMs — I will check your websites/site samples — if they are not accessible, you will not hear back from me. We are looking for an accessibility-focused dev.

I am looking for an #accessible web developer well-versed in WordPress customization with a sharp eye and care for the front-end. This is for a potential long-term gig opportunity. Please DM me your LinkedIn profiles and site examples. #accessibility #a11y #developer

.@BofA_Help the "deposit checks" via app functionality has been broken for at least two days — after tapping either the "front of check" or "back of check" photo button, an all white screen is triggered. When will this be working again?

Tell me about the last site you visited on which you didn't instantly notice failures to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)? #Accessibility #WCAG #AccessibleDesign #AccessibilityTesting

The unsafe pool & hot tub, accessible walkway, & dishonest staff are not the only reasons why the @Marriott's @Westin Mount Laurel NJ Hotel is far from upscale. But they are more than enough reasons to warrant frequent inspections by the @NJDeptofHealth to ensure public safety.

It just so happens that my mother was a New York State public health water inspector (and microbiologist) & knows exactly what water & public environments are safe by smell & appearance alone. Legionnaires' disease outbreaks are most often caused by unsanitary public hot tubs.

It was my mother's holiday gift to stay one day in a hotel with a hot tub to ease her RA and spinal/hip injuries. She didn't get that. Expedia called the front desk on our behalf after they offered no partial refund and the staff lied to Expedia about the hot tub being closed.

The hot tub was luke warm. The pool was being refilled and that seems to be reason that the showers that night & next morning before leaving were luke warm also. The accessible outdoor walkway was covered with wet leaves & cigarette butts -- a hazard for my mother with her cane.

They were shutdown that morning. The hot tub was opened late that day yet still unsanitary. When we turned on the jets, a burst of cold, cloudy water was observed, which indicated the lines were not fully purged & that there was a possible cross-connection to the pool.

4 grand Mac Book Pro fan on all day today. It's only 50 degrees outside; I don't need the heat. Reported the overheating problem to @Apple week one out the box. #AppleCare not. #ScreamingIntoTheWind

"Accessibility" overlays do not remediate inaccessible sites — most often they create additional accessibility barriers. We already know this. The European Union's Accessibility Commissioner knows this and is taking a stand: this https://europa.eu/!TqkkDM #Accessibility #A11y

The voting site is not accessible, but if I win, I will design the first Nike AirMax 90s and Dunks that are accessible to the disabled community! I will also advocate for the next competition site to be accessible, allowing the disabled community to vote and participate.
