If the Steelers ran away and hid with the division after a 4-1 start, the Ravens starting 1-5 and Burrow being hurt, that would have made an entire division not very interesting by Thanksgiving. The boys in black n gold do an amazing service for the league!! They always do!!

To relate that to the Steelers, there is no demonstrated, consistent track record that would indicate that they can bring their best when it is needed. They prob will beat the Bills. That's good and fine, but we know what the season result will be based the previously stated.

Watching SNF last night, they're like well today means the Rams are def the class of the league with Eagles losing and Rams winning. I don't really care about that in Wk 12. The most important thing is can you bring your best when your best is needed. Like in the playoffs...

This shit with the Steelers is the best thing to happen to Pitt men's and women's basketball of late.

By my count, Steelers have been ahead @ the half 73 pct of the games (8 of 11), most of those by a TD or more (6 of 8). Why is that translating to a coin flip the final result?

14-7 and 21-14 leads in the 2nd qtr and even 21-17 at the half, that is code for we are okay, no need to get aggressive offensively. Well the defense is not as good as you think it is, it hasn't been for years and it's not the NFL from 18 yrs ago for that matter either.

Meaning if the QB turns it over, they will lose and have lost each game, regardless of who it is. Even when Rodgers was in there, it had to be 0 or 1 INT for them to win.

Correct to say that Mason cant have those TOs. Rightful to put a good bit of blame. But don't forget Rodgers is 8 TD, 6 INT in the 4 losses he's played in and 11 TD, 1 INT in the 6 wins he's played in. Rodgers has his share of TOs costly. Team can't overcome TOs regardless of QB.

There does not appear to be any urgency to be anything other. There are many layers to that, such as avoiding being like say the Browns. But the team is closer to that than being a true contender despite what the record may indicate. Ownership only opinion that matters on that.

Teams that don't have an identity tend to be inconsistent game to game. The Steelers don't have an identity. They think it's that they "have the talent and have good coaches," as Herbig was quoted, but that's not good enough to just show up and roll the balls out. Never is.

Steelers are a win some, lose some organization that tends to win a game or two more than they lose each year. Many lousy teams in the league and the 17th game are big reasons that sustain the latter part of that. Wash, rinse, repeat. Oh well if you go 0-1 in playoffs 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
