On his last night here, he got to have one last VCW style banger with me, @SarianSoftPaws , and @danielmakabe . And if he knew that it was his last day, I think that's exactly what he would have wanted.

If there is any small comfort I can find in this is that Scott loved wrestling more than anything else. Everyone in VCW has said that those years were the best of their lives and it was extremely special to him.

properly. Scott and I butted heads a few times over the years over really dumb stuff and while I don't think it affected our friendship, I often wondered if I was a bad friend and I wish more than anything I could have done things differently.

I am not good with conveying emotions sometimes and I deal with grief differently than other people in certain situations. You will see a lot of long posts on how Scott impacted people's lives and while I want to do the same, I cannot find the words to really express that.

No more over the top physically squirming to the point were are on the floor in a cringy heap from watching bad wrestling. I don't have many friends anymore and now I have one less.

I am still numb to this. But I am slowly realizing all the things I will no longer get to do with my friend. No more inside jokes that only we get. No more watching bad movies. No more gushing about 90's AJPW.

I lost one of my best friends for the last 20 years yesterday. We had just seen each other not a few hours before, and I even received a text that night saying "I'm home. I'm good." And then later that afternoon I received the worst phone call of my life.
