The answer is that whilst Pakistanis may be deeply ashamed of their (Indic) roots, we Pashtuns have no issue with our own identity. I am from Pakhtunkhwa and will always be a proud Afghan/Pashtun. Imaginary British lines on a map can never change that.
I don’t understand this. My family migrated from India. You will never see an Indian flag in my bio or my name. I got tons of Indian friends & some of my extended family is still in India. But I am a proud Pakistani. What is up with this bizarre ethnic hangup with these types?
