The Le Mars baseball team got a much-needed win to snap a 12-game losing skid defeating B-H/RV 16-8. Sy Bixenman went 4-5 with 3 doubles and 4 RBIs, Brett McInnis went 2-5 with a triple and 4 RBIs, and Keegan Gengler went 2-5 with a double and 3 RBIs.

With today's sweep of SC North, the @LeMarsSoftball team has reached 30 wins in the regular season for the first time since 2013 when they went 30-0 before the postseason. This year's Bulldogs wrap the regular season at 30-9 and 22-6 in the MRAC good for 3rd place by 1 game.

End 6: Gehlen Catholic 7.George-Little Rock 0. Kennedy Paulson works around a leadoff walk in the top off the inning to keep the Mustangs off the board. The Jays get another run on a couple of errors and a hit. GLR will have their last chance in the seventh.

End 5: Gehlen Catholic 6.George-Little Rock 0. The Mustangs get a leadoff hit, but she is thrown out trying to steal second again by McKenna Langel. That's her second would-be-base-stealer thrown out tonight. Emerson Schmidt picks up her second RBI in the bottom of the inning.

End 4: Gehlen Catholic 5.George-Little Rock 0. The Mustangs threaten with two baserunners reaching in the top of the inning, but they come up empty. Kennedy Paulson adds to Gehlen's lead with an RBI hit that scores Grace Kellen in the bottom of the frame.

End 3: Gehlen Catholic 4.George-Little Rock 0. Kennedy Paulson strikes out the side in the third and has punched out five Mustangs in a row. The Jays add to their lead with three runs on two errors, a hit, and two walks in the bottom half.

End 2: Gehlen Catholic 1.George-Little Rock 0. Viktoria Storm gets on with a leadoff hit, but McKenna Langel throws her out trying to steal second. Paulson faces the minimum in the top half. An Emerson Schmidt bunt single scores McKenna Langel to put Gehlen in front early.

End 1: Gehlen Catholic 0.George-Little Rock 0. Kennedy Paulson gets things started for the Jays retiring GLR in order in the top half. The Jays put two on in scoring position but fail to take the first lead of the night.
